Chattanooga, Tennessee

We took a spontaneous trip up to Tennessee this last weekend. And we had a really good time. We stayed at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. Slept in a train car. We ate at a restaurant were your waiter sang on stage. We went to Ruby falls, which is an under ground water fall underneith a mountain. We had to carry Ruby all the way and keep Sophie from exploring every hole. Oh and Haley was in tears once she found out there was a ghost. After that we went to Incline Railway up at Lookout Mountain. Sophie loved that. Then we went to Rock City. It would have been fun if we didn't have to carry the baby. Lots of caverns to explore , and you can see seven states from the peek. And even though we were so tired after all that we still went to the IMAX and saw Dinosaurs 3D. Sophie wouldn't wear her glasses because she "didn't want to go into the TV" her words. Isn't amazing how children interpret things? So on our way home, the next day, we stopped off at the Chickamauga National Military Park to see where one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War took place. It is supposed to be haunted too. It was pretty interesting, but if you want to explore there you should go on a cool day and bring a bike. Over all we had a good time, and I can't wait for another spontaneous trip. The Eastern side of this country has allot to offer.

I haven't been to those sights in many, many moons. Sounds like you had a good time...except for carrying the baby everywhere. ;0)

Chickamauga is haunted by ol' green eyes. Ask Davy about ol' green eyes.
