Apples House

The Girls and I took a little trip to Kansas City. April and her family live there and that is why we went. After the whole terrible mess with Lane getting sick here I thought I would try to attempt a trip. I think it will be a very long time before she will have Brent’s blessing to come here. We left Daddy behind which was sad and Snapple was left too. They survived with out us but just barely. Daddy had TV dinners and Snapple was on a hunger strike. I’m sure they lost a few pounds while they were alone.
So I shot some video of Ruby on the plane but she was abusing Sophie pretty bad so I won’t post it. (Maybe I will now that I think about it, I have an idea on a future post.) But they did pretty good; they didn’t get scared and get us kicked off the plane so that was good. We were pretty tired after the trip so we went and hung out at April’s house, gave Brent a hard time, got familiar with our new digs for our stay.
Ruby loved their back yard, keeping her inside was next to impossible. She had a lot of fun with Lane’s little four wheeler. Sophie picked on Brent most of the time (when she wasn’t watching or playing Indiana Jones) and Haley played with Baby Lane and tried to get Brent to pay her for odd jobs. He told her that if she brushed out Shelby and he wasn’t able to get one hair off of him he would give her $1000. She is soooo gullible, poor kid. I won’t tell you how long she brushed. Let’s just say it was dark when she finished. I’m not sure how much she got from Brent, but April laid down the law. (There was a high pitch sound involved) It was either that or Haley started to nag. I’ve got more to post, stay tuned.
