Being a good girl
Here are some pictures of our little weekend trip to Pensacola Florida. We stayed on the beach as you can see and it was really cool. We got in when it was dark so we didn’t get the whole effect of the view from our room. But when we woke up we were in awe. We ate dinner at a place called Peg Leg Pete’s. The girls had fun, Sophie is a boy chaser and Haley is not. We were down there to attend church on Sunday so there were other people from our church there too. One of the families that stayed in the same hotel as us went with us to dinner and Sophie chased their boys, Justin and Cole. I have Cole in my Sunday school class. So we all knew each other pretty well. Just so you know that they weren’t some random boys. She had it planned (the chase) all week long.
Next day we ate breakfast and went to look for sand dollars. There were jellyfish type things washed up on shore so we had to be careful, and the surf was dangerous so there was no playing in the water. After we had our fill of the beach we went to the Harley place and then ate a really good lunch at the Hemmingway's Island Grill. Yummy. Then we went to find Haley a shark tooth necklace, but couldn’t find one. Once we gave up on shopping we dropped Davy and Ruby off at the room and the girls and I went back to the beach and played. It was really fun to hang out with them. I do want to say that Haley is such a worrier, and Sophie was sooooo good. Ruby has hit her terrible two’s. The rest of the trip I will not talk about because it was not good. But we all have those days don’t we, he not so good ones? One more thing, it didn’t smell like the ocean, at least not the Pacific Ocean. Weird.

Davy, do you know how much you look like your dad? :0)
Sonya, why is it we NEVER get to see you?
Thanks for posting these. I've been patiently waiting.
