In the girls Easter basket were two eggs each that had passes for a Mommy movie date and a Daddy date. Last week they turned theirs in and so I had every intention to take them to see Horton Hears a Who. Well yesterday Haley decides to push me to my limits and ruin our plans to go. And strangely enough Sophie wasn’t in trouble and got to go with me. It sucked leaving Haley behind but I had to stand my ground. So we went to the next town over to the movie theater that is inside the mall. She got her own kids pack (Pop, popcorn, and a candy) and I think that was the most impressive part of the day for her. Other than that she didn’t seem to enjoy herself. She wanted Haley to be there, she wanted her Daddy to be there to sit next to her. I think that Mommy dates don’t have has much excitement because she spends everyday with me. But I liked the movie, it’s been awhile since I went to a children’s movie. I used to take Haley all the time when she was smaller, she was never as energized her younger sister is. Hopefully the next time there are movie plans made she’ll keep her comments to herself. And Sophie will be able to enjoy herself and not worry so much about missing her sister.

I liked Horton Hears a Who. It's sucks that Haley didn't get to enjoy it.
