Awards Night For Haley

Haley had an awards assembly the other night. I am not a big fan of those things, long boring and hot. And Haley didn’t participate in much this year so I didn’t think any metals were coming her way, which is not fun for her but it’s the way it works. So I thought……..One of last awards went to most improved. I knew that Haley’s grades had been rising through out the year, but you never know. Math has been really hard for her but also had the most success in getting it from a D to a B. But she didn’t get an award, some other rugrat scored it. It was the reading award that was meant for her, we were so excited for her, and she was so proud, she wore it for the rest of the week. She is like the phoenix rising from the ashes.
