Hangin at the pool.

We spent as much time at the pool as possible. The babies did good in their floaties, and Sophie just hung out at the stairs. That girl will talk to anyone. On the last day of Aprils visit we went to the smaller pool, (there are three in our community) because there were only two people at that one. April and I like to do laps and not have to worry about other kids landing on us or our babies.
So Sophie walks into the pool area and starts talking to the other Mom. For the entire time we were there she talked to her. And tried to walk her home. And yes I know I have to be careful with her going off with people, but to have that sort of trust is amazing. But I will tell you that if you started the conversation and she doesn’t know you she will pretend to be shy. Are boys that complicated?
Haley loves the pool, but she is a self taught swimmer so she is not very graceful. I tried to show her so she wouldn’t be so spastic but she was having fun being her so I dropped it. She is going to be so different from other girls, I couldn’t be happier. I had a friend named Amy Jacobsen when I was 12-14, and Haley reminds me of her. She was a good girl. I often wonder what happened to her.
