We recycle cans, paper, plastic and glass. It’s not hard to do and it becomes a way of life. When we were on vacation it was so hard to just throw everything into one can and know it was not going to be sorted. I probably would have taken my recyclables home with be but I didn’t have room in the car. I know I’m weird.
There are many things that I need to change, like using reusable sacks, changing my light bulbs, maybe go a little organic in the food I buy. Some of those things are not so easy to do with my everyday life. When I go to the store I use about 10 to 15 bags. How do I manage that and two kids who are usually cranky and trying to escape? And I have to watch the checker so she doesn’t charge me multiple times for an item or to catch an item that is priced wrong. There is a lot that goes into a trip to the store. And to add something so time consuming. It’s that so selfish?
And now there is the organic issue, food had gone up so much. When I pay for my food I pray. I use a calculator, I cut coupons, and I look for deals. I also take advantage of my Sams Club Membership and get savings with milk, cereal, juice, and bread. (When I’m out shopping I pick up cans and bottles put them in my car and put them in my designated containers.) Obviously I have no room in my budget to spend more money on organic products. I am going to grow my own tomatoes this year, I paid $2.50 for a tomato, and can you believe that? I would love to make my own compost, but I think I’ll have to do some research on that before I can make that a reality.
So what do you do? What can you do? Why don’t you want to try? We are stewards of this planet and we are obligated to our Father to take care of it. If I can do all this you can too. It also becomes a part of your life. Okay, I’m done ranting.

Excellent sermon hunn!
And, by the way, the organic coffee she buys at Sam's club is some of the richest coffee I have ever tasted.
I could just kiss you.
You're such an agrarian, Sonya! Way to go!
I bought a bag of Sam's Organic decaf coffee on Saturday and found it to be quite good.
First off, good job, Sonya!
Secondly, I reuse my paper at work and try to be frugal in all areas. As far as recycling, I do cans...that's about it.
Keep up the good work!
