We had a parent teacher conference on Monday. She is doing well, when she does get into trouble it is for reading or writing stories in her note book instead of listening to her teacher. I couldn’t help but be proud of that. She could be on the other end of the spectrum back talking or beating up fellow students. HAHAHA. I can’t ever see her beating up anyone. Maybe having a smart mouth, but not to anyone else but me.
I had a great conversation with her today. It was about voting and why it’s important that we exercise that freedom whenever we get the chance. I also tried to explain the whole presidential election process. She asked who I voted for and I told and why I voted for that person. And then I tried to explain the difference in the parties. It was good. Much better than the whole “One day your body is going to change”. She was absolutely mortified when we talked about that mess. You should have seen her face when I told her about having eggs inside her. Wow, that was not a fluid conversation.
This is going to be an exciting summer for her, Sissy and Uncle Bubba are coming to visit in June (Cindy, the pool will be open despite the drought), and in July she is going to Disney World with BFF Madison for her birthday. How great is that? Her Grandma and Papa from the mountains are coming in next week. We love it when we get to see family. Well I think that’s all I’ve got to say about my Haley Ray-Gun. I hope this will do for now.

I'm glad you posted this because, yes, I noticed she was missing. Figured she just didn't want to be in the "news".
She's more beautiful than ever!
Love you guys!
