Brady Sims

This handsome young man is my brother Brady. He is the youngest of us. There are four, Myself, Eric, Thomas, and Brady. I am a lot older so I am not as close to them as I wish I were. I take responsibility for that, I do know how to use a phone. Anyway, we have known for awhile that Brady is headed for Iraq. He graduated high school last year and joined up with the Army right after. My brother Thomas had done the same thing the previous year. Unlike Brady, he is stationed in Kansas and is an instructor, I think in fire arms. They both plan on being public servants when their time is up, Highway patrol I think. But the Army is something that they have been talking about since they were Sophie’s age.
Brady is on a plane right now headed for Iraq; he’ll stop off in Ireland for nine hours and go to Kuwait for two weeks before he goes to Baghdad. In Baghdad his job will be going house to house looking for the bad guys. I’m not concerned about his safety, because I know that God will be with him. And if we loose him, well I just rather not think that way. But what I do worry about is how he comes back, mentally I mean. Seeing death, or taking someone’s life can’t be good for the soul. He won’t be the same guy, but I pray he will be able to over come all that he see’s or does. I pray that when he is scared or he does not think he can handle it that he needs to turn to God. That he needs to keep the lord on his heart and mind everyday. Please keep my brother in your prayers. Please pray for all of our brother and sister that are over there, not just our military folks but other Christians that are trying to help and minister.
