4th

Well today sucked. Independence Day is usually fire works, BBQ, family or friends, maybe both. Our day started with a nightmare. Sophie woke up, jumped out of bed, started to cry out for me (even though I was right next to her before she high tailed it out of bed). Some monster was after her and his face was messy. After I calmed her down she then started to throw up. Between that she slept. She woke up around 12:30 and then was on the run for the rest of the day. What I mean by run is exactly that. We had to go grocery shopping and keeping her near me was impossible. I even lost Haley; they had me paged to come to the front to retrieve my lost child. Ruby is restrained so she can’t take off on me. So we get home and eat our dinner, then go outside to see if anyone is out lighting their fire works. There wasn’t at the time, and Haley started to cry. We didn’t buy any this year because Davy is in Chicago and we didn’t think it was safe for one parent to watch over all the kids that would be playing with fire. That and we didn’t know if it was legal. So around ten our neighbors on the next block started the show and we watched from the window. Haley said Jesus answered her prayers. Hopefully mine will be answered and I will have a husband home every week instead of every other week. One more trip to Chicago and we hope he will be done traveling for awhile. I hope everyone else had a good 4th of July, and said a little prayer for our ladies and gent’s that are abroad. My brother Brady will be heading over to Iraq soon so keep him in your prayers along with all the others. Thanks for letting me rant. On a happier note, doesn’t Ruby make the craziest faces? One other thing, yes Davy I see that Sophie’s face is dirty (its doughnut) and no I never clean it. And I had to make Haley and Sophie hug in that other picture. Who has time to clean faces when I am refering their whine fights?

First off, I didn't even notice that Sophie had donut on her face. I had to go back and look. Sorry to hear she had such a bad start to her morning.

Second, Ruby had a look of unimpressedness. Like maybe she was watching fireworks and saying, "Eh! I've seen better!"

Third, I love and miss my nieces so maybe I'll call them today. Haley looks really pretty in her braces.

Fourth, Uncle Bubba says thank you for the birthday card and he loves you all. Ruby didn't sign the card, though. ;0)

Finally, We will join with your prayers for your brother and that Davy will get to stay home with his family.

Love you guys!!!
