So I'm getting ready to travel to Georgia to find our new home. Two of our girls are staying behind and the baby is coming with us. And we would leave her too if we could. I love my girls but traveling with them is not easy. Getting all of their stuff ready, keeping track of it all, fighting in the car, getting them all in and out to pee. It makes me tired just thinking about it. So it's going to feel like a vacation. The baby does not like to travel but I'm hoping she will make an exception this one time. Sophie will be away from me for the first time ever for a whole week. I am scared for her, just because she is soo attached to us. I'm probably thinking too much about it. She probably won't give us a second thought. Haley has spent a lot of time with this set of Grandparents so it's no big deal for her. Except that she has to share them with Sophie and Ruby. Davy isn't as excited as I am, he goes to Georgia all the time for work, but I've never been that far east before. It's going to be a whole different planet. And this time We are going to take our time finding a house. No would'a could'a should'a with this house.

Leaving The Kids

Sophie'll be OK. She's a toughy. Plus she's got big sister there with her.
I had to laugh yesterday when I talked to Sophie on the phone. She said, "Hi Uncle Mike!" And I said, "Hi Sophie Kay!" She said, "I can't hear you, Uncle Mike." "You can't?" I asked. "No, I can't!" she replied. But then she added, "I love you, Uncle Mike!" Man, that does an uncle good to hear that.
Enjoy Georgia. It really is a whole other country. It even has it's own language. Seriously. Just wait til you hear that Georgia drawl.
That second comment was me. or some reason my comment posted twice. Sorry.
Sophie always refers to you as "My best friend Uncle Mike". She always asks if we're going to Oklahoma, or if we can go now.
:( im sad your leaving but i am glad you guys are coming over on easter... I hope its ok ... but i would like to take sophie and Haley to the candy store on Saturday and get them some stuff... Since it will be awhile until i see them again... Would that be a problem?

Thats fine, I know they would love it.
I'm kinda jealous that the girls don't get to come here while you're on your trip but we'll see them soon.
